A considered introduction, not a quote race

A house move is a practical job, but the best outcome depends on human details: access, timing, communication, the right crew and a sensible plan for the things that matter to you.

Dray starts by understanding those details. We then select one mover at a time based on the evidence they provide, their availability and fit for the job—not on who responds first—and ask them to quote through Dray. We make the introduction only if you decide to proceed.

Dray listens, clarifies the brief, selects a suitable moving partner and obtains their quote. We review and relay it to you. If you want to go ahead, we confirm with the mover and put you both in touch.

Dray is not the removal company. The selected mover prepares the quote and remains responsible for it. Once you decide to proceed, they agree the contract, take payment and perform the move.

Our promise is deliberately specific: before a live brief is sent, we ask the partner for evidence about identity, insurance and capability, and require a written quote you can review before deciding.

You should still review the mover's written proposal, insurance and terms that Dray relays before deciding whether to proceed. If something is unclear, ask us to clarify it. A good moving relationship begins with clear expectations on both sides.

The mover sends their quote to Dray, and Dray relays that price without adding anything. If you book, you pay the mover directly. For that confirmed booking, the mover pays Dray a flat referral fee based on the size of the job—not a percentage of its value. Dray adds no separate customer fee or markup. You are free to decline, and the mover remains responsible for the price and service they offer.
