Dray is responsible for the personal information used to run this introduction service. You can contact us at hello@draymoving.co.uk.

When you enquire, we may receive your name, telephone number, email address, collection and destination areas, preferred date, property details, access information and notes about the items being moved.

We also receive information you choose to send in later WhatsApp, telephone or email conversations. Please avoid sending information that is not needed to discuss your move.

We use enquiry details to respond, understand the move, choose a suitable moving partner, share the relevant job details so they can prepare a quote, review and relay that quote and, if you choose to proceed, arrange the introduction. We also keep an appropriate record of the enquiry and protect the service from misuse.

We rely on taking steps at your request before an arrangement is made, our legitimate interests in operating and improving the service, and legal obligations where they apply. We do not use enquiry details for unrelated marketing without your permission.

Before you decide whether to proceed, we share with one selected mover at a time only the job details needed to prepare a quote, such as the locations, access, timing, property and items involved. We do not share your name, telephone number, email address or other direct contact details at that stage, and the mover sends the quote to Dray rather than contacting you. If you decide to proceed and agree to be introduced, we share your contact details with that mover so you can finalise the booking directly. We do not sell your data or circulate it to a panel of competing moving companies.

If the first mover is unavailable or the brief is not a suitable fit, Dray may send the non-contact job details to another mover next. This happens sequentially rather than by distributing the enquiry to several companies at once.

Information may also be handled by service providers needed to run Dray, including WhatsApp and our website hosting and privacy-conscious analytics providers, or by authorities where the law requires it. These providers may process information outside the United Kingdom under their own safeguards and terms.

We use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights to understand aggregate visits and website performance. We do not send the contents of your quote enquiry to those analytics tools.

We keep personal information only while it is useful for the purpose collected. Enquiries that do not proceed are ordinarily retained for up to 12 months. Referral, financial or dispute records may be kept longer where reasonably needed or required by law.

We use proportionate technical and organisational measures to protect the information we hold. No online or messaging service can guarantee absolute security.

Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to certain uses of your information. Contact us first so we can help.
