Dray helps you describe a proposed move and selects one moving company at a time that we consider potentially suitable. We send that mover the relevant job details without your direct contact details, obtain and review its quote, and relay it to you. If the mover is unavailable or unsuitable, we may try another sequentially. If you want to proceed, we confirm with the mover and introduce you so you can finalise dates and details directly. Dray does not provide the removal service, enter the moving contract, collect payment or guarantee availability.

We use reasonable care when selecting a mover and handling the quote, but every move is different. The mover must make its own assessment before quoting and remains responsible for the quotation it provides.

The selected mover is responsible for the quotation and, if you proceed, the contract, payment, scheduling, insurance and performance of the moving service. Dray reviews and relays the quote but does not set its scope, price or terms. The mover's terms—not these terms—govern the move itself.

Before asking to be put in touch, check that the written proposal relayed by Dray covers the required work and review the mover's insurance, exclusions, cancellation terms and claims process. Once introduced, pay the mover only using details you have verified with them.

Please provide information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge, including anything that could affect access, timing, staffing, equipment or the safe handling of an item. Tell Dray if those details change before we put you in touch, and tell the mover directly after the introduction.

An enquiry does not reserve a date or require you to proceed. A booking exists only when you and the mover agree it under the mover's terms.

The mover sets the price and sends its quote to Dray, which relays that price without adding anything. If you book, you pay the mover directly at the quoted price. For that confirmed booking, the mover pays Dray a flat referral fee based on the size of the job—not a percentage of its value. Dray adds no separate customer fee or markup. The mover remains responsible for the total price, and you are under no obligation to proceed.

Dray is responsible for selecting the mover and handling and relaying the quote with reasonable care. Because the selected mover is an independent business, it remains responsible for its acts, omissions, quotation and performance of the move. Dray's review of the quote does not transfer that responsibility to Dray.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits responsibility where doing so would be unlawful, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
